What Is Death?
Death is inevitable. For example, Myrtle Wilson's death in The Great Gatsby served as a large event towards the end of the book. Soon after, the book's namesake's (Gatsby) death also occurred. Similarly, coffee also has downfalls that are like death.
In 2020 The Guardian released an article named "How Nespresso's coffee revolution got ground down" (found here). Other than its horrible pun, it illustrates the origins of Nespresso, beginning in 1975 with Eric Favre, an engineer with Nestlé, who took a trip to Rome, resulting in the company's inception. Later in 1986, Nespresso was launched, but it didn't gain respect until its design was changed to be different from the average espresso machine. In today's world, Nespresso has had a fall from its grace, as it has "died" in the luxury image it once had.

Hard coffee also served as a type of caffeine based drink that didn't allow itself to be successful for too long. Hard coffee is when coffee and alcohol is mixed (that genuinely sounds really gross) that became popular in c. 2019. According to Fresh Cup's article named "The Rise and Fall Of Hard Coffee" (found here), hard coffee was something that sounded attractive to people, but, personally, that is slightly hard to believe. After the slight buzz of hard coffee, it stopped appealing to the American audience, a factor of this being COVID-19.

Some types of coffee are not meant to last, leading to its death, although its death is less memorable than that of a person's.
